The man was later arrested.

Police say the man punched a woman during the altercation and later went into the men’s bathroom.

Police arrived and found him passed out in the men’s room.

He was taken to Hospital East where he remains in critical condition.

The injured woman was not seriously injured.

Police say he has since been charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

More information will be released after the investigation is complete.

Police: Man Injured In Accident In Men’s Restroom

Police say a 23-year old man suffered serious head and facial injuries while he was accidentally locked out of his restroom at a Marriott hotel on Friday afternoon.

The incident started about 1:45 p.m. at the Marriott at 2100 W. Lakewood Boulevard.

The woman who was left in the restroom told police she left the hotel with a group of friends around 4:10 p.m. and returned to get her things around 7 p.m. with several friends.

She says the incident began when her friend left her something important in the bathroom and she returned to find a group of men in the men’s bathroom.

She says when her friend left the bathroom, they found her missing items in a large suitcase and tried to open her.
